Advice women business leaders in metro Detroit give younger selves

For some reason, summer — which officially begins Tuesday —has been a time of the year to stop and smell the roses, take a vacation and sometimes just reflect.

Which is why I decided to check back with six high-powered women recently inducted into the Michigan Business Women Hall of Fame during its 26th annual Women Thrive Conference. MichBusiness started as the Michigan Business & Professional Association and has grown into a statewide organization with over 20,000 members.
