Midlanders are encouraged to begin their team registration for the 2023 Midland softball season.
Softball leagues are offered through a partnership between the City of Midland Parks and Recreation Department and the Midland Softball Association. The leagues offered are men's fast pitch, men's modified pitch, and five separate leagues for slow pitch: coed, men's, men's church, men's grand masters, and women's.
Registration for men's and coed slow pitch teams is now through March 30. Women's teams can be registered through April 13, and fast pitch and modified teams can be registered through April 27.
Team registration fees will be accepted online, by mail, or in person at the Midland Parks and Recreation Office at 4811 N. Saginaw Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. To register online, visit the Midland Softball Association website.
Team registrations made after the deadline dates will be assigned a late fee of $25. There is a convenience fee for online registrations.
Completed team rosters must be submitted by April 20 at 5 p.m. for slow pitch or by May 11 at 5 p.m. for fast and modified pitch. Rosters of 12 players or more, signed and paid, will be accepted through these dates. After a roster is submitted, additional players may be added to a team roster by visiting the Parks and Recreation office in person or online.
