GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A frozen white canvas splashed with vibrant, interwoven color and designs decorated the ice rink at Rosa Parks Circle for Paint the Park on Saturday, Feb 18.
The community gathered at Rosa Parks Circle to paint from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as various artists got down on the ice and turned it into the city’s largest painting.
Paint the Park is part of the Grand Rapids World of Winter hosted by Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. and is scheduled to run until March 5 with more than 100 art installations and many free events.
